A farmer identified as Joy Kwatse has discovered an abandoned newborn girl on the way to her farm at Adaka, a suburb of Makurdi, the capital city of Benue State. Kwatse who said that the baby girl was wrapped in a nylon paper had initially mistaken it for snake before she summoned the courage to open the nylon. “It was a baby girl that was wrapped and dropped on the road to my farm,” she said. The female farmer told newsmen that on sighting the nylon she ran to the main road to draw the attention of passersby to it. “I thought it was a snake because it moved. Because I was afraid, I did not go close but decided to go to the roadside and beckoned on passersby. I called an okada man but he was too afraid to go close to it and he quickly fled.” Kwatse said having summoned the courage to open the nylon, she saw the body of the baby girl being eaten up by soldier ants. A 60-year-old Malaysian man has been arrested and charged with raping a neighbour’s goat to death in Hulu Selangor district, Selangor Malaysia. The man, with an impending 20 years imprisonment sentence, has been remanded for 7 days in the meantime for allegedly having unnatural sex with a female goat that led to its death!  It was reported that the goat owner heard the animal bleating strangely who upon checking out what was wrong with the goat, found the suspect half-naked and doing the unseemly with the female goat.The man then pulled up his pants and fled the scene while the goat dropped dead! The owner checked her goat and discovered that it was already dead. She then launched a police report and the suspect was apprehended the following day. The goat was sent to the Vertinary Services Department for a post-mortem which confirmed that the goat died as a result of the sexual attack!

The Ogun state police command has arrested a middle-aged woman Falilat Olatunji for  stealing a four month old baby boy. According to the police public relations officer, DSP, Abimbola Oyeyemi, the suspect was arrested after a complaint by a neighbour who reported at Sabo Ilupeju police station. “One Taiwo Bello was washing clothing behind her house at Iyana kajola mile 2 Abeokuta, she left her four month old baby Ibrahim Bello sleeping in the room only for her to get back to the room and discovered that the baby has been taken away by an unknown person,” he said. “The neighbour further explained that the woman raised alarm which attracted a lot of people to the house and that up till the time of his report, the baby is yet to be found. ” “Upon the report, the Divisional Police Officer, Sabo Ilupeju division chief superintendent of police , Alhasan AbdulAzeez mobilized his detectives to the scene and commenced a full scale investigation into the case. ” “Their e...

ln a town known as Okada,in Edo State, a python about 10fts long swallowed a poor woman's baby which people said was 6months old. According to eye witness the baby was left on a mat outside before the python swallowed the baby... He then raised an alarm and the python was killed, but it was too late. May the baby soul rest in peace. It was later gathered that the Mother had carelessly left the baby in the varanda of the not so secured a house to attend to some kitchen things when the unfortunate incident took place! She fainted at the scene and when she came up,she had lost her mind for the unbearable loss of her baby; her only child after 8 years of marriage! To couple with that, lt is interesting to note that two months earlier the husband of this same woman had been ran over by a motor cycle on his way to the farm and died flat! Baby died, swallowed by a python and mother left insane as her soul could not take in anymore the misery she was passing through.
