 A Kenyana man set himself on fire after his wife failed to cook him fish, according to reports. Ibrahim Makokha was admitted to Bungoma County Referral hospital on Wednesday and would be charged with attempted suicide once he had recovered. According to The Star, when Makokha's wife refused to cook him fish because she was tired, he argued and fought with her and she ran away. According to mediamax, Makokha locked himself inside the house and set it on fire. He sustained burns to his buttocks and head by the time neighbours pulled him out of his burning bed.

He said initial investigation found that the victim was believed to have been beaten by his 35-year-old wife, which then led to his death. "The suspect was detained to assist in the investigation and police have also applied for a remand order," he said.  It was a black Sunday in Lagos when a commercial bus caught fire, killing many  passengers,burnt beyond recognition while others were injured. The incident happened at the popular Iyana Oworo near the Third Mainland Bridge. According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA), it was discovered on arrival at the scene that a commercial bus with 14 passengers was on fire. The Bus was a Mazda with registration number KJA 699 GY. It was gathered that the incident occurred due to recklessness and speeding by the driver which resulted in the fire with 12 passengers reportedly trapped. Permanent Secretary of LASEMA, Dr. Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu said while the driver escaped with some burns, three female adults were rescued and  rushed to Gbagada General Hospital while a male adult was attended to by LASAMBUS at the scene.  A Pakistani man burnt his 12-year-old son to death at his apartment in Karachi after the boy could not answer questions about his schoolwork, it has been claimed, media reports said. Shaheer Khan sustained severe burn injuries in the horrific incident in the Orangi Town area and was rushed to the hospital, wher he succumbed to his injuries two days later, Daily Mail reported. His father, Nazir Khan, reportedly poured kerosene over Shaheer and lit a match in an attempt to terrify the boy into completing his homework, but the flame ignited the oil and set the child ablaze, the report said.  Peoples Gazette reports that over 19 people have been burnt to death in an auto crash which happened at Yangoji-Gwagwalada Road, Abuja, on Sunday. 8 others were injured. The acting corps marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps whose name is Dauda Biu was responsible for confirming the sad incident. He said the accident involved three vehicles. Inside the 31 persons that were affected by the auto crash, 7 males and 1 female were injured, the remaining 19 people lost their lives in the accident, they were burnt beyond recognition. After Investigation, it was discovered that the auto crash was caused as a result of overtaking, exceeding speed limit and all these led to loss of control.  Nigerian Woman Killed In Crash During High-Speed Chase With Husband Who Was Allegedly With Mistress The incident occurred on Sunday in Calabar, the Cross River State capital, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has confirmed. A middle-aged woman has reportedly died in an auto crash while chasing her husband who was allegedly with another woman suspected to be his mistress in his car. The Sector Commander, Maikano Hassan, who confirmed to journalists the high-speed that led to the tragedy, said a middle-aged woman was involved in a lone accident in Calabar. Hassan said the accident was caused by excessive speeding involving a Toyota Highlander along Murtala Muhammed  Highway in Calabar.   He said the accident claimed the life of the lone female driver who veered off the road and crashed into a ditch. "Though the woman was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital, she was said to have died a few minutes later due to the injury sustained from the incident.” ...

Geeta, 21, lives in the Saharsa district in the East Indian state of Bihar and suffers from Hematohidrosis - a disease that affects just one in 10 million people. Her husband left her last year because of the condition - he thought she was a witch when she suddenly started bleeding from her eyes. According to a study published in the Indian Journal of Hematology, the condition causes the many blood vessels that surround the sweat gland to constrict or narrow when under stress. As the anxiety increases, the blood vessels dilate to the point of rupture. The blood then goes into the sweat glands, which push the blood - along with the sweat - to the surface, appearing as droplets of blood mixed with sweat. Geeta's condition is so rare that many people, including doctors, do not know about it....

 DOCTORS were shocked to discover a “horn” growing out of a little boy's head when he was born. Seven-week-old Nhel Jhon Prado was born  with a rare birth defect which caused an egg-sized swelling to protrude from his head. Medics diagnosed him with encephalocele, which had gone undetected during his mum’s regular check-ups. Parents Angel Puerto, 20, and Ronel Prado, 20, took Nhel back to their home in Manila, Philippines, but he needs round-the-clock care including redressing the tender lump which has continued to grow.
