Woman,28,Arrested for Kidnapping Girl,7,so her Boyfriend Could Rape her

KURILSK, RUSSIA: A Russian woman named Veronika Khomchuk,28, has been arrested for allegedly kidnapping a seven-year-old girl so her boyfriend could rape the child.

Khomchuk faces charges for abducting the unnamed child and giving it to her boyfriend Andrey Komaritsky, 46. Komaritsky faces charges of rape and attempted murder for his plot of throwing the girl out of a second-floor window in an attempt to kill her after rape.

The victim was later reported to have been thrown from a second floor window in Kurilsk, in remote Russia, north of Japan, in an alleged bid to kill her.

The seven-year-old was flown by helicopter to Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, capital of Sakhalin region, in a critical condition and is fighting for her life in hospital.

Komaritsky faces charges of rape and attempted murder.

He previously served time in prison for another rape, according to local media.

Khomchuk is said to have lured the little girl to a flat under false pretences on Friday, reports Komsomolskaya Pravada.

“It is really hard to find words for what happened,” writes the newspaper.

“Veronika chose the victim at a playground for the pervert, according to our sources.

“When it was over, the animal of the man threw the child out of the window."

It added that, a neighbour said Komaritsky "waved and smiled" as he was taken away by police with bloodied wrists.

The neighbour added that the incident had horrified locals in Kurilsk, a town of 1,000 people where “everyone knows each other

It comes after an eight-year-old girl was abducted in the same region before being raped and murdered two years ago.

Vika Teplyakova had run away from home after a row and was taken by married couple Igor Dvornikov and Kristina Dvornikov, who drove her to a remote forest, where she was raped and strangled with a plastic bag.

Dvornikov was jailed for life and Kristina for 15 years.

CCTV footage showed Vika in a T-shirt and blue shorts walking alone on Sakhalin island, on her way to see friends after a row with her parents.

More than 500 volunteers joined the search for Vika but she was missing three days before Dvornikova admitted to police that she and her husband had given the girl a lift.

Vika’s mum Ulyana Teplyakova, 32, had said before the trial: "I hope that soon these people will end up in hell."

They deserved a "terrible and painful" punishment, she said.

Her daughter was "kind and friendly, obedient, a regular child, all her friends loved her".

Her mum added: "She loved football, playing it with boys and girls. She loved drawing, singing, and making videos. She was a very artistic girl."
