 A man presented himself to doctors with a 'horn' growing from the tip of his penis, leaving medical professionals baffled by the extremely rare condition. Doctors diagnosed the man, from China, with a cutaneous horn, a hard mass of keratin — the protein that forms skin, hair and nails - which turned out to be cancerous. The unnamed 43-year-old patient reported to the hospital in Taiyuan, China, where medics removed the two inch long brown yellowish cancerous build up. “Clinical examination showed a conical lesion projecting from the anterior surface of the glans penis,” wrote Xi Zhang and Haoying Shi, of the Second Hospital of Shanxi Medical University’s urology department, in the Asian Journal of Surgery.  A father, Confidence Amatobi, 31, has been accused of beating his two-month-old baby, Miracle, with a plastic hanger for disturbing his sleep.  The baby was injured in the process and one of his arms has been amputated as a result. According to ABN TV, the Imo State chapters of the National Human Right Commission and the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists have called on the Imo State Government and police to immediately arrest and prosecute Amatobi for the assault. The baby’s arm was amputated at the paediatrics ward of the Federal Medical Centre, FMC Owerri.  Russia's defence ministry said the plane, a Su-34 fighter bomber, was on a training flight when one of its engines caught fire on Monday evening. An apartment block was set on fire and emergency services called in. A nearby school was evacuated, reports say. The pilots in the aircraft ejected before the crash, the ministry said. Footage has emerged apparently showing local residents trying to help one of the pilots lying on the ground nearby with a parachute behind him. "According to a report from the pilots, who jettisoned from the plane, the reason for the crash was a fire in one of the engines during take-off," the Russian defence ministry said in a statement. Medical doctor  Emmanuel Ogah  has been arrested for stabbing his 62-year old mother to death in the Itele area of Ogun State. According to a Facebook user, Awoniyi Isaac O , Emmanuel, a serving  National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)  member, carried out the act on Thursday, at the victim,  Janet Ogah ‘s shop. In a video Awoniyi shared, Emmanuel said he killed his mother who is a food vendor because she was in the habit of insulting him. He said she told people that he was sick and also “signed a form” stating same, adding that he should be taken to a psychiatric hospital. He said people think he’s sick, meanwhile he did a research “only to discover that Jesus is the one that is sick”.  A baby girl believed to be about three months old has been found abandoned in KwaZulu Natal Province, South Africa, along with a note written by the mother.  According to a statement released by Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) on Monday, October 3, 2022, the baby was discovered by a man who was picking mangoes at the base of an embankment next to a stream in Dawncrest.  A bag containing nappies, a bottle of milk a pacifier, was found lying next to the baby. The note said that she made contact with social workers twice with no luck.  The mother also stated that abortion was not an option as it is no longer safe and hospitals have strict rules. She further requested that authorities be notified when the baby is located.  Two planes crashed into each other while taxiing on Wednesday evening at the Heathrow Airport in London. Daily Mail reported that Heathrow emergency services rushed onto the tarmac after the collision. The airport management confirmed that the incident between two commercial passenger planes took place around 8pm, adding that no injuries were reported. The two planes involved are a Korean Air 777 plane, which “scraped into” an Icelandair 767 jet. According to an eye witness, it wasn’t a “full on” collision. The Korean Air flight Flight #KE908 was due to leave London at 19:35 to Seoul, Korea, Daily Mail added.
