Russian Military Plane Crashes

 Russia's defence ministry said the plane, a Su-34 fighter bomber, was on a training flight when one of its engines caught fire on Monday evening.


An apartment block was set on fire and emergency services called in. A nearby school was evacuated, reports say.



The pilots in the aircraft ejected before the crash, the ministry said.


Footage has emerged apparently showing local residents trying to help one of the pilots lying on the ground nearby with a parachute behind him.


"According to a report from the pilots, who jettisoned from the plane, the reason for the crash was a fire in one of the engines during take-off," the Russian defence ministry said in a statement.


"At the point where the Su-34 came down, in the courtyard of a residential block, the plane's fuel supply caught fire."


In a telegram post(in Russian), the governor of the Krasnodar territory, which Yeysk is part of, said he was on his way to the town and all regional and local fire services were battling the blaze.


Local media report the fire engulfed five floors of the multi-storey building.


A local correspondent in Yeysk told Russia's state-run TV channel Rossiya 24 that two of the building's blocks caught fire.


Pupils from a nearby secondary school were successfully evacuated, according to Russia's Vesti.ru website.


The Kremlin has ordered national and regional authorities to provide "all necessary assistance" to victims of the fire in the centre of Yeysk, and senior government officials have been dispatched to co-ordinate a crisis response centre.


The military aircraft has crashed in a residential area of the southern Russian town of Yeysk, killing at least 15 people and injuring up to 25.


Russia's Investigative Committee said it had opened a criminal case and sent investigators to the site of the crash, without giving any reasons.


Yeysk sits opposite Russian-occupied territory in southern Ukraine, separated by the Sea of Azov.


The city has been used as a major training ground for Russia's naval aviation.

A woman in Australia has been killed by her pet camel after the animal may have tried to have sex with her. The woman was found dead at the family's sheep and cattle ranch near the town of Mitchell in Queensland. The woman had been given the camel as a 60th birthday present earlier this year by her husband because of her love of exotic pets. The camel was  10 months old but already weighed 152kg (336lbs) and had a history of eractic behavior! On Saturday, the woman apparently became the object of the male camel's desire!  ln a town known as Okada,in Edo State, a python About 10fts long swAllowed a baby which people said was 6months old.  According to eye witness the baby was left on a mat outside before the python swallowed the baby. He then raised an alarm and the python was killed, but it was too late. It was gathered that the Mother had carelessly left the baby in the varanda of the not so secured a house to attend to some kitchen things when the unfortunate incident took place! She fainted at the scene and when she came up,she had lost her mind for the unbearable loss of her baby; her only child after 8 years of marriage! Plane Passenger Shot in mid-air after Aircraft was fired at from the ground

 A PLANE passenger was shot in mid-air in Myanmar after a bullet fired by a gunman on the ground pierced through the fuselage. The Myanmar National Airlines plane, carrying 63 passengers, was hit as it was about to touch down in Loikaw – the capital of the eastern state of Kayah – on Friday. The bullet ripped through the plane and struck a passenger. The passenger was rushed to hospital after he was shot. Shocking images showed the bullet hole in the aircraft and a male passenger sat in his seat surrounded by blood-soaked tissues.  According to DailyTrust, a nurse named Folashade Adesina has been arrested for piercing the newborn baby’s eye with an injection needle only minutes after she was born in order to avenge a punishment she received at school. The personnel of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital in Sokoto approached the baby’s mother, Asma’u Ahmad Tijjani, to ask some questions.
