Breaking:Trump shot in right ear at campaign rally as suspected shooter is killed

Donald Trump was shot in the right ear during a Saturday campaign rally, streaking the Republican presidential candidate blood across his face and prompting his security agent to swam him, before he emerged and pumped his fist in the air, appearing to mouth the words "fight! fight! fight!".



"The shooter was dead,one rally attendee was killed and two other spectators were injured", the secret service said in a statement.The incident was being investigated as an assassination attempt,a source told Reuters.

Trump 78,as just started his speech when the shots rang out.He grabbed his right ear with his right hand,then brought his hand down to look at it before dropping to his knees behind the podium before Secret Service agents swamed and covered him.He emerged about a minute later,his red "Make America Great Again" hat knocked off and could be heard saying, "wait,wait", before agents ushered him into a vehicle.

"I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear",Trump said on his Truth Social platform following the shooting in Butler,Pennsylvania, about 30miles (50km) north of Pittsburgh."Much bleeding took place".

The shooters identity and motive were not immediately clear.Leading Republicans and Democrats quickly condemned the violence.
The Trump campaign said he was doing well.

The shooting occurs less than four months before Nov 5 election,when Trump faces an election rematch with Democratic President Joe Biden.Most opinions polls including those of by Reuters/Ipsos show the two locked in a close contest.

Biden said in a statement,"There is no place for this kind of violence in America.We must unite as one nation to condemn it."

Republican U.S Representative Ronny Jackson of Texas told Fox News his Nephew had been wounded at the rally.

"He was grazed in the neck.A bullet crossed his neck,cut his neck and he was bleeding", Johnson said.

WITNESS ACCOUNT 

Ron Moose,a Trump supporter who was at the rally described the chaos:"I heard about four shots and I saw the crowd go down and then Trump ducked also real quick.Then the Secret Service all jumped and protected him as soon as they could.We are talking within a second they were protecting him".

Moose said he then saw a man running and being chased by officers in military uniforms. He said he heard additional shots,but was unsure who fired them.He noted that by then sneakers had set up on the roof of a warehouse behind the stage.

The BBC interviewed a man who described himself as an eye witness, saying he saw a man armed with a riffle crawling up a roof near the event.The person,who the BBC did not identify,said he and the people he was with started pointing at the man,trying to alert security.

The shoots appeared to come from outside the area secured by the Secret Service,the agency said.The FBI said it has taken the lead in investigating the attack.

A woman in Australia has been killed by her pet camel after the animal may have tried to have sex with her. The woman was found dead at the family's sheep and cattle ranch near the town of Mitchell in Queensland. The woman had been given the camel as a 60th birthday present earlier this year by her husband because of her love of exotic pets. The camel was  10 months old but already weighed 152kg (336lbs) and had a history of eractic behavior! On Saturday, the woman apparently became the object of the male camel's desire!  ln a town known as Okada,in Edo State, a python About 10fts long swAllowed a baby which people said was 6months old.  According to eye witness the baby was left on a mat outside before the python swallowed the baby. He then raised an alarm and the python was killed, but it was too late. It was gathered that the Mother had carelessly left the baby in the varanda of the not so secured a house to attend to some kitchen things when the unfortunate incident took place! She fainted at the scene and when she came up,she had lost her mind for the unbearable loss of her baby; her only child after 8 years of marriage! Plane Passenger Shot in mid-air after Aircraft was fired at from the ground

 A PLANE passenger was shot in mid-air in Myanmar after a bullet fired by a gunman on the ground pierced through the fuselage. The Myanmar National Airlines plane, carrying 63 passengers, was hit as it was about to touch down in Loikaw – the capital of the eastern state of Kayah – on Friday. The bullet ripped through the plane and struck a passenger. The passenger was rushed to hospital after he was shot.  According to DailyTrust, a nurse named Folashade Adesina has been arrested for piercing the newborn baby’s eye with an injection needle only minutes after she was born in order to avenge a punishment she received at school. The personnel of Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital in Sokoto approached the baby’s mother, Asma’u Ahmad Tijjani, to ask some questions.
